This past Sunday morning, we were honored to hear Pastors Karl and Debbie Malouff share their story with us: how God first led them to HRock and how He continues to lead them in their faith journey with Him. As they opened their hearts with us, Pastor Debbie released an awesome prophetic prayer over our HRock Church family.

A Prayer for HRock Church

“Lord, I pray that we at HRock would always put You first and never forget our first love. Help us to love You with all our heart, mind, soul and strength all the days of our lives. Help us put You first, then family, then ministry.

Father, help us from bowing down to the idols of this world. Keep us free from the love of money, the lust of the flesh and the torment of addictions that never satisfy. Keep us from misusing Your precious, wonderful, glorious name in word or in deed.

We love Your revealed names that reveal who You are and all that You have done for us.

We bless Your name together. Let us do that all the days of our lives because You are our Shepherd, our Healer, our Guide, the great I AM.

Precious King, help us to find rest in You in these busy days, turbulent days. Lead us by still waters to lie down in green pastures so that our souls are restored, to be in communion and intimacy with You where fear and doubt will fade away, to always remain and abide in You as You give us the desires of our heart—because You are the desire of our heart.

Anoint us again. Fill us again with Your precious Holy Spirit. Let goodness and mercy follow us all the days of our life. Our true and only Father, we ask that we would honor our parents, those in authority, submit to one another in our marriages and in our church family.

And, Lord, forgive us for all the ways we have grieved You, quenched You, Your precious Spirit of life, and broken Your heart. Keep us from sinning against one another through lying, cheating, stealing, gossip and divisions. Make us holy. Remove jealousy, bitterness, judgements against one another. Let us prefer and submit to one another, thinking the best of one another. Grant us a spirit of wisdom and revelation in Your love and in Your will to please You.

Jesus said, ‘A new commandment I give to you: that you love one another as I have loved you.’

Let our love be real. Not only in word but in action. Let rivers of living water flow out of our being to have Your countenance, to speak Your words of life, to obey Your will and promptings, and may we teach disciples and share our faith boldly—even unto death—remaining faithful until You return in glory.

And we say, ‘Maranatha. Come, Lord Jesus.’ Let us live by faith, grow in grace, release the giftings that we have, know our identity in You, prosper, be of good health, fulfill the Great Commission and bring You glory.

And Father, may we fulfill in this generation and in coming generations the words of Jesus before He departed—that we here at HRock may be one so that the world will know that we are Christians by our love. That not one would be lost, that Your joy would be in us, and that You would keep us from the evil one.

Sanctify us by Your truth as we pray for the lost, behold Your glory, and that the Father’s love will be in each one of us.

Let the next generation until You come meet and serve and encourage one another until You return.

And may the Lord God Almighty grant you your heart’s desire and fulfill all your purpose and give you peace.

In Jesus’ name I pray”
