WHAT WE BELIEVE
We believe that the God of the Bible is the only one and true God revealed eternally in three persons as the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. These three persons are the same being with the same nature and character and exist in perfect unity eternally.
We believe that Jesus is God, the second person in the Godhead. He is eternal in nature and was manifested in flesh and walked on the earth as both God and Man. Born by a virgin, he lived a sinless life, died on the cross to pay the price of our sins and rose again in order to redeem all those who are willing to receive Him as Lord.
We believe that the Bible is the authoritative Word of God and states nothing contrary to fact in the original documents. We believe that all Scripture found in the Bible is reliable for reproving, correcting and instructing in the way of life and is unchangeable in nature.
We believe that every believer can be baptized and filled with the Holy Spirit, who was sent to us to comfort, teach and guide us in our journey with God, while at the same time convicting the world of sin, righteousness and judgment. The Holy Spirit empowers each believer with spiritual gifts.
Our Core Values
Jesus gave us a commandment to love one another (Matt. 22:39). Therefore, we are committed to walk in love and unity in our homes, churches, and city, demonstrating the love that was manifested toward us (1 John 4:9), especially among those who don’t know Jesus in a personal way.
The first institution established in the Bible is the institution of family. We believe strongly in the biblical family model and are committed to its strength as a foundation for our church and society.
Jesus went about doing good and healing all those who were oppressed by the devil, because God was with Him (Acts 10:38). Therefore we are intentional to pray for the sick, bring deliverance to the oppressed, and incorporate people into our church by the power of the Holy Spirit, inner-healing, deliverance and physical healing.
Because God’s house is a house of prayer for all nations, we are committed to pray and fast that His Kingdom will come and His will be done on earth as it is in heaven (Mark 11:17).
KINGDOM OF GOD
We are here to advance the Kingdom of God by living the ethics of the Kingdom and sharing the Good News of the Kingdom (Matt. 5-7; 24:14) as we disciple nations (Matthew 28:18-20), and change lives with the power of the Kingdom
Because the Church is founded on apostles and prophets (Eph. 2:20, 4:11), we believe and embrace the office and ministry of the apostle. HRC is part of an apostolic network called Harvest International Ministry.
We seek to demonstrate and declare the Good News of Jesus, by doing our part to fulfill the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20), through preaching the Gospel, sound Biblically-based teaching, outreaches, discipleship of all believers, and regularly scheduled baptism celebration(Mark 16:15-18).
Because a sovereign God uses finances to expand His Kingdom, we believe that God wants us to give joyfully and sacrificially with our tithes and offerings, as a means to fulfill the Great Commission.
God wants us to reform society by bringing the Kingdom of heaven to earth (Matt. 6:9-10). We do this by empowering, equipping, and calling people to grow in Jesus and discover their divine assignments as minsters and leaders in every sphere of society and culture (Eph. 4:11; 1 Peter 2:9).
The Bible says, “The just shall live by faith” (Rom. 1:17). “Without faith it is impossible to please God” (Heb. 11:6). We are called to be people who “live by faith and not by sight” (2 Cor. 5:7).
Jesus sought out the Father’s presence, and did only what He saw the Father do (John 5:19). We recognize that we need the Presence of God to be with us and that nothing can be accomplished in our own strength. Therefore, we seek to be perpetually revived, empowered, and led by the Holy Spirit.
We welcome and honor prophets and the prophetic ministry (Matthew 10:41). We are called to be a prophetic people and are committed to do only what we see our Father saying and doing (John 5:19).
